back to basics…

March turned a bit complicated for me, and for the most part left me uninspired. Much like I would imagine a writer feels when writers block sets in, there are times when I am simply not motivated to paint. And while I could have bombarded you with the various tactics I used to nurture my creative spirit in this time of drought…most did not seem blog worthy.
In an effort to make sure April starts right, I did some plein air painting with my handy-dandy portable watercolor set.
Not my usual medium of choice, but perfect for a quick study or two of my beloved sycamore tree.

who new when i bought you that little paint said soooooo many years ago, that you would be using one again now. you are amazing.
