a fond farewell to Southside Shellfish…

December 2, 2007

Put the finishing touches on the Southside Shellfish mural. I will truly miss working with the Meeks family and Buddy, a fun bunch indeed…I’ll also miss working on the street, and all the passers by, especially Mr. Golden and the little girl in the 3rd grade that offered to help every day. I’ll look forward to more projects like this in the future.

A few words about their fabulous new business…

If you’re looking for the freshest fish in Savannah, you can bet they’ll have it…Southside Shellfish is on Whitebluff Road across from Whitebluff Elementary, and they are due to open in the coming week…

Grande Mahi finally has a home…

note my double reflection off the glass…lol!

a true fresh seafood market. u.s.a. caught fish, shrimp, and crabs. As clean if not cleaner than a hospital, inside and out. friendly and quick service. We need to help keep this plce in business. If you want imported seafood then go to Red lobster or Captian Ds. If you want the freshest seafood then make the drive to Southside shellfish, you will not be disapointed. Buy local to get local caught seafood.

    • Thanks for stopping by Lee! I could not agree more…everything is fresh fresh fresh, and their low country boil to go, is TO DIE FOR! thanks for stopping by, and let’s hope this is another great year for Southside Shellfish!
