spreading the word…

October 2, 2008

Thanks to all the folks that have spread the word about the Savannah Market Bazaar! I’m so excited to meet all of you, and I think it is going to be lots of fun!  SavannahBest, we really appreciate your write-up…oh and mucho thanks for plugging my Foodie Prints on your Dining Blog!

In other news, you may be seeing an awful lot of pink lately…and that’s because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  If you’d like to give to a good cause (and take home some lovely art), be sure to take a trip down to Tybee and visit my friends at Gallery by the Sea and Seaside Sisters. All month long they will be having a “Save the Ta Ta’s” silent art auction in the galleries.  Some of Savannah’s finest artists have turned out for this event…and guess what?…I’ve donated two of my original works to be auctioned off!  That’s right, I said it…original works!  Those of you who know me, know it’s very very rare that I part with an original…(they’re kind of like my babies)…so put your flip-flops on and spend a day at Tybee.  Here’s a peek at one of them…

In addition to rhinestones, I believe every girl should own a pair of red cowboy boots, or at least red heels! I err on the side of caution and own all of these things. Great piece, and a great cause!

  2. ha! I still haven’t found my pair of cowgirl boots…but I have more than one pair of red heels to make up for the loss…lol!

  3. Awesome job Heather! Thank you so much for working on this! We all appreciate it:)

  5. […] October 15, 2008 We’re half-way through Breast Cancer Awareness month, and our low country weather is beyond perfect for a trip down to Tybee.  While you’re there, be sure to stop by Gallery by the Sea and Seaside Sisters, to bid on some fabulous artwork for a good cause.  Here’s the second version of “These Boots,” and it too, is up for auction!  (Click here to see the first version) […]
