spring in savannah…

March 8, 2009

The azaleas are starting to bloom…the cold snap has passed…and St. Pat’s is fast approaching.  There’s nothing quite like Savannah in the spring.  I so look forward to painting outdoors with my three little apprentices!  Yesterday, I introduced the girls to Mr. Roy G. Biv, and we had a grand time painting rainbows with pots of gold at the end…and chatting about spring showers, leprachauns, and the like.  Here’s a sampling of their work…

Roy G. Biv….learn something new every day!

Fan-tastic! These might be their best works to date. (Ok, I’m biased toward rainbows, but still.)

Sure makes me wish I could catch a rainbow with my camera..

They got that ROYGBIV thing down…not me. I still don’t own a color wheel…

  4. Oh yes, I was so proud of them…they are moving this summer…it will be hard for me to say goodbye to my little apprentices 😦
