A Little Rhinestone Never Hurt Anybody…

May 10, 2010

…the former name of this little blog as some of you long time readers might recall.  I nixed it a few months ago in the interest of keeping everything “the same”…but that doesn’t mean I don’t still adore sparkly, shiny, blingety-bling rhinestones…So when Aunt Pam landed us tickets for the Tim McGraw / Lady Antebellum concert, and decided we all needed custom t-shirts with Tim songs on them…I instantly thought RHINESTONES!  I mean, if you can’t rock rhinestones at a country show, then tell me just where else you might get away with it?  We arrived at the arena, all decked out in our hot pink rhinestone studded shirts…(thank you Custom Bling Apparel)

Turns out our seats were in the very last row.  It was steep and scary up there…

Much to our surprise, a Security Guard named Ron, spotted our shirts (and perhaps my Wild Thing purse)  all the way from the floor, and sent a fella up to get us…

Ron if you’re reading this, YOU’RE THE MAN! We went from the dead last row to stage-front for the whole show!  We screamed like little school girls…good times indeed.

Lady Antebellum put on an awesome show…(tell me her bracelet isn’t the most fabulous thing you’ve ever seen!)

The drummer actually gave me one of his sticks…and signed it…(gush)

We even got to touch Tim McGraw!  (who also put on a stellar show, although I was a little miffed he didn’t play Indian Outlaw just for Pam.)

The moral of this story…sparkle is good, sisterhood is better, and a little rhinestone never hurt anybody.
