Bite-sized Foodie Magnets

The best part about it?  You can build your own collection!  (Not everybody likes okra right?)  These bite-sized magnets (each only 2″ square) are printed locally, right here in Savannah, and packaged with love by yours truly.  Each has a UV protective coating to keep them from fading.  To see the full collection…CLICK!

Special thanks to Nick for helping to design the packaging, and to Ed & Dawn Tolliver of Candy Bouquet for allowing me to shoot a few photos on their fun colored walls.

P.S. if you haven’t discovered Savannah’s Candy Bouquet, you should definitely check them out.  They have all sorts of candy to tempt you with, and Dawn’s arrangements are just spectacular.  They can customize to suit your budget and even include your promotional items in a candy bouquet.  Just look at this stock!

AND they painted their floor to look like Candy Land! Awesomeness I tell you.

Nothing makes me happier than knowing my little prints have found happy homes.  It’s fun to see how people mix and match to make their own collections…and I sooo appreciate when people take the time to send me shots like this!  (makes my day!)  I’ll be posting an album with many more shots to my Facebook Fan Page if you care to take a peek…

Yesterday, I paid visits to some galleries who had been  slightly neglected by me the past few months.  All of them had sold out of Fountain notes, and various prints, but one in particular, had a few gems I had long since forgotten about.  FOODIE PRINTS!  Since I had sold out of some of the favorites via etsy, I decided to bring these babies back home and list them in the shop.  It’s been a while since I’ve seen Fresh Asparagus or Carrot around, even a Lemon Tree print!  So if you’re interested, better get them quick…as Nick and I will have a new kitchen to decorate soon, and I’m tempted to keep them for my own selfish purposes.

That’s right…the Rockstar Red series is all gone!  Things seem to be picking up this first week in Spring…so if you’ve been eyeing the Foodie Prints, better pay a visit to The Produce Stand quick!

Not much else going on around the studio…a little of this…and a little of that.   I have, however, decided to design my own wedding invitations.  I’m not sure how smart this idea is.  I’m plenty capable of designing invites…but my indecisive nature may just work against me here.   When to stop my inner control freak?

Anyhoo…wishing you all a lovely first weekend in Spring!  xo

This is south Georgia?  We spent yesterday freezing at the Savannah Market Bazaar. Not the best turn out for the event, but it’s always great to mingle with other artists, and see old friends.  I sold my very last Fresh Carrot yesterday to a lovely couple, and Cherry Babies, the only one ever printed in the Rockstar Red series, went home with a young girl about the age of 10.  She pondered over the purchase, and I’m sure spent some time negotiating with her mom over just why she needed a Foodie Print…but it’s so inspiring to see a youth interested  in art, and not some video game…the highlight of my day, no doubt!  In general, the Foodie Prints have been feeling the love as of late…if you’d like to get your hands on one, you better click-click-buy!  There’s only 3 Rockstar Reds left!

Returned home to find my little Sublime featured in this lovely treasury…now I’m really longing for a sunny beach, 83 degrees, and a margarita..

Some days I don’t know where the hours go?  This time of year seems to move so fast!  Just a quick reminder that today is the last day to take advantage of the SALE at The Produce Stand.  So be sure to EAT YOUR GREENS! In other exciting etsy news, I’d like to introduce you to Coastal Gems. My Granny…(the one I so affectionately named this painting after), and her dear friend Teena have opened shop on Etsy!  They’re selling some fabulous jewels, ornaments, and adornments inspired by the sea, and I hope you’ll all take a moment to show their shop some love.

there were sketches.  Lots of sketches.  Rearranging, dissecting, grouping, collecting, and visualizing of sketches.  It’s indecisiveness in it’s most vicious form, but the foundation of any project lies in a “simple” pencil sketch.

Don’t forget to EAT YOUR GREENS at my super fantastic online sale. (Which ends 10-26)

Oh and I had the pleasure of meeting two great Savannah Etsy Sellers yesterday, and one stellar organizer extraordinaire…(Miriam that’s you)…When you’ve finished shopping the Produce Stand, take a moment to check out Kathryn’s stellar jewelry, and Jeri’s whimisical paper mache.
