It’s the perfect day to head to the beach!  If you plan on hitting up Tybee, be sure to stop by Gayle Bolton’s Gallery by the Sea at 1016 Hwy. 80 E.  She’ll be hosting a Garden Party complete with wine, lemonade, and “Mater” Sandwiches!  Artist, Stephanie Dwyer, will be there with her latest bottle trees.  Take a moment to peek inside as there’s lots of new artist work to be had (including some new works by yours truly)  Perfect place for that last minute Mother’s Day gift!  As you get on Tybee, look for Gallery by the Sea on the right side of the road…get lost, call 912-786-7979.  Have a super fabulous weekend!

We’re half-way through Breast Cancer Awareness month, and our low country weather is beyond perfect for a trip down to Tybee.  While you’re there, be sure to stop by Gallery by the Sea and Seaside Sisters, to bid on some fabulous artwork for a good cause.  Here’s the second version of “These Boots,” and it too, is up for auction!  (Click here to see the first version)

spreading the word…

October 2, 2008

Thanks to all the folks that have spread the word about the Savannah Market Bazaar! I’m so excited to meet all of you, and I think it is going to be lots of fun!  SavannahBest, we really appreciate your write-up…oh and mucho thanks for plugging my Foodie Prints on your Dining Blog!

In other news, you may be seeing an awful lot of pink lately…and that’s because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  If you’d like to give to a good cause (and take home some lovely art), be sure to take a trip down to Tybee and visit my friends at Gallery by the Sea and Seaside Sisters. All month long they will be having a “Save the Ta Ta’s” silent art auction in the galleries.  Some of Savannah’s finest artists have turned out for this event…and guess what?…I’ve donated two of my original works to be auctioned off!  That’s right, I said it…original works!  Those of you who know me, know it’s very very rare that I part with an original…(they’re kind of like my babies)…so put your flip-flops on and spend a day at Tybee.  Here’s a peek at one of them…
