Today I’ll be shipping Mary & Caty to their new home in Texas.  I’m quite sure they’ll like it there.

And for a little bit of news from Studio North…Nick’s finally wrapped the CSM Paper site.  Take a peek…

Not bad eh?  Spread the word to your small business friends!  Great design and a functional website don’t have to break the bank…and trust me, we know how hard it is to be a small business in this economy…

Well, better warm up that printer, and get some cardio in this morning.  Happy Wednesday!

Mary Musgrove that is … It’s about time she got a little recognition…an important figure in history don’t ya know? Anyhoo…I was tickled pink to see her featured on the FoundHanmade Blog along with some other Native American inspired goods.

Caty / Mary update…

July 20, 2008

It’s been a long time coming on these two portraits.  Mary (on the right) is still quite undeveloped, Caty (on the left) is approaching the “over-worked” line…it’s a delicate balance, and thus I haven’t pushed.  I’ll work on them for a few hours, then come back to them the next day.  (Which is also, a lovely way to work with oils, as it allows the previous layer  time to dry.)

I’ll be so thrilled to finally peel the tape off of these two…maybe tomorrow?

On another note, don’t forget that today is the last day to enter my Blog-A-Versary Give-A-Way!
