spreading the word…

October 2, 2008

Thanks to all the folks that have spread the word about the Savannah Market Bazaar! I’m so excited to meet all of you, and I think it is going to be lots of fun!  SavannahBest, we really appreciate your write-up…oh and mucho thanks for plugging my Foodie Prints on your Dining Blog!

In other news, you may be seeing an awful lot of pink lately…and that’s because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  If you’d like to give to a good cause (and take home some lovely art), be sure to take a trip down to Tybee and visit my friends at Gallery by the Sea and Seaside Sisters. All month long they will be having a “Save the Ta Ta’s” silent art auction in the galleries.  Some of Savannah’s finest artists have turned out for this event…and guess what?…I’ve donated two of my original works to be auctioned off!  That’s right, I said it…original works!  Those of you who know me, know it’s very very rare that I part with an original…(they’re kind of like my babies)…so put your flip-flops on and spend a day at Tybee.  Here’s a peek at one of them…

Have a great day!

Merry (almost) Christmas

December 20, 2007

That’s right folks, I’m taking a siesta from all things FLYoung Studio for a few days.  Special thanks to all of you who have supported my work, and made this Holiday Season a prosperous one for me and my family.  I am truly blessed to have such great network of family and friends, and I would not be able to continue living this dream without each and every one of you.

I’d like to wish a very special Christmas this year to my dear friend, Cima.  I am thankful every day that our friend Dana Jo introduced us to each other.  You are a true gem, and I hope I did your Queen Athena justice…see below:
