Mara & Brett – Candler Oak Wedding Invitations
July 25, 2014
I love love love when couples give me enough time play around with their invites. Thank you Mara & Brett! We added a deep purple backing board to the invite and coordinating envelopes. They have just the right amount of shimmer to give their guests an idea of what’s ahead. I can’t wait to see how the rest of this event comes together!

Just before the start of the New Year, I was approached by Ash and Laurel of Ashley Hilton Jewellery to use one of my Oak Tree Drawings on a sample wedding band. I’m always thrilled to work with other Etsy sellers, and I promptly agreed. I could not have been happier with their translation of my drawing, except to find out that others wanted their very own Spanish Moss draped rings AND to hear that it was featured on Huff Post Weddings, May 1st! What a way to start the month!
Their jewelry can be customized with your favorite tree, landscape, etc. Pieces can be designed with gem stones and a variety of metals, to suit any budget or style. Here’s a link to the Savannah Live Oak band, if you’d like one for yourself!
Thanks for finding me Ash and Laurel! It’s been a pleasure working with you from half way around the globe!
I have had the pleasure of working with so many Jekyll Island Club brides, that it’s about time I added this beautiful wedding venue to my collection of hand painted watercolor prints. Each print is printed with archival quality inks onto watercolor paper, then painted and signed by yours truly. For more information CLICK!
Prints measure 8×10″ and are matted to fit 11×14 inch frames.

Whoa! Happy New Year!
January 1, 2013
How exactly did it get to be 2013?! I’m still playing mad catch up from 2012. (The year that will go down in my personal history as “the one that got away”) I hesitate to make it an official resolution, perhaps rather a goal, but I’m shooting to keep you all MUCH more up-to-date this year. Here’s a peek at some of the Christmas commissions that couldn’t be posted until the New Year…many, many more to come!
