One thing I love about Savannah are all the little hidden courtyards and carriage houses. As if the houses on the street aren’t charming enough?!

A little something for the only two people on the planet brave enough to let me marry them. Can’t believe it’s been a year already! Happy Anniversary Val & Pat!

Jekyll Island Club Pen & Ink Drawing
July 25, 2012
In 1904 the Jekyll Island Club was referred to as “the richest, the most exclusive, the most inaccessible club in the world,” according to Munsey’s Magazine. The Club still lives up to it’s grand title, this sketch a mere detail of the sprawling building and lush grounds. Click Here to read some of the fascinating history behind the Jekyll Island Club.

Harper Fowlkes Pen and Ink Drawing
February 27, 2012
Love love love the Harper Fowlkes House! Beautiful inside and out, and it’s been on my list to draw for ages. (my right hand is still crippled from all the last minute details applied last night) The original has been sold, but you can bet I’ll be offering some variety of prints in the not-so-distant future.

Front Door Pen and Ink Drawing
August 29, 2011
The house in its entirety is gorgeous, but here we’ve decided to highlight the front door. It has an intimate feel to it, and I’m thinking this is going to be a listing to add to theinklab.

Gordonston Magnolia
July 9, 2011
I waited months for this Magnolia tree to bloom. Complete with a sweet little swing, it is by far, the most perfect specimen I’ve seen in Savannah. While I usually work in a series, this one might stand alone. Unless, I can find the Windsor Forest Giant that my brother and I spent countless summers climbing…sentimental value and what not…
