New Olive Tree Drawing!

Such magnificent trees! I have a feeling there will be more of these to come.

Gordonston Magnolia
July 9, 2011
I waited months for this Magnolia tree to bloom. Complete with a sweet little swing, it is by far, the most perfect specimen I’ve seen in Savannah. While I usually work in a series, this one might stand alone. Unless, I can find the Windsor Forest Giant that my brother and I spent countless summers climbing…sentimental value and what not…

Ford Plantation Live Oak Tree – Richmond Hill, Georgia
March 2, 2011
Finally had the opportunity to start sketching Ford Plantation Live Oaks! I could spend a lifetime drawing inspiration from this incredible property.
Gateway Oak (or so I’ve named it)
Prints available in Natural, Moss Green, and Icy Blue
Weeping Willow Prints
January 13, 2011
We have a few sparse willows around these parts, but they grow like mad in the Chicago-land burbs. This particular tree lives along Waubonsie Lake, in Aurora. I am currently drawing the next willow in the series, but you can snag this one early via The Ink Lab. (Available in Moss Green, Icy Blue, and Natural)

Hunter Army Airfield Live Oak
November 2, 2010
A few months back, I showed my work at the Hunter Spouses Club luncheon. The new Live Oak series was well received…save one small request…”can you draw one of ours?”
This one certainly takes the cake for the most moss. I should have it available for purchase sometime next week. Until then, feel free to check out the rest of my forest over at theinklab.etsy.com.

Savannah Live Oak Tree Prints are here!
September 21, 2010
I’m so excited to finally have the Live Oak Tree Prints for sale. They’re available in three different treatments, Icy Blue and Moss Green hand watercolored prints, and archival black prints on Natural paper. All are hand-signed, and though they are listed at 5×7 inches, I can certainly print 8×10’s or even 11×14’s should you fancy a larger size.

I welcome your comments, and I’m still tree huntin’ so if you know of a spectacular oak, do tell!
