Merry (almost) Christmas!

December 19, 2009

Nick and I are closing shop and enjoying time with friends and family!  We’ll be back soon with a bevy of goodness to share…and after all the presents are opened and surprises unveiled, a ton of new work to post to this poor idle blog.  Wishing you all a warm and wonderful Holiday Season, and of course, thanks to all of you who have allowed us to have such a great year!

I’m alive…

December 15, 2009

and doing quite well, thanks to many of you who have spread the word about my work, and kept me working like mad this Holiday Season.  I sooooo cannot wait until after Christmas when I can finally debut all the Pet Portraits, and Custom Inks that have come my way…I even picked up a charcoal drawing on a whim, and rather enjoyed getting back to my  roots for a few days.  Things are starting to wind down, only 1/2 a sketch left to complete, and then it’s time to focus on family, friends, and all the things I’ve missed so dearly during these hectic few months.  Oh and I managed to squeeze in a little time to whip up a Vayda Christmas card!  Although, I’ll wait just a few more days before posting, to ensure a proper surprise to many by snail-mail.

Anyhoo, just checking in!  Hugs~

Schedule Booking Fast!

December 2, 2009

Thanks to all of you who took advantage of my weekend sales.  Would you believe it?  It’s only Dec. 2nd and I can no longer accept Pet Portrait commissions!  If I’ve just broken your heart, no worries!  I can still issue you a super cute gift certificate, good for one year, from Vayda’s Pet Shop.

I still have time to squeeze in a few custom Pen & Inks, but better book quick!

Of course, I have plenty of reasonably priced prints for the Foodie on your list…and a full line of Savannah Prints and Notes…(a good thing to have on hand for that unexpected neighbor that drops by with a surprise gift)

Hope y’all are having the best Holiday Season ever!  Oh and please remember to support your local artists and the hand-made movement.  xo
